Chat Agent History

How can you view the chat history for your agents within the UI and to what extent? The current documentation seems to be a bit light in covering history review.

Currently, the chat agent history is limited to the past 30 days; but can be accessed through the clock icon in the top right corner of your chat agent:

You can access other chat agent’s you have access to through the dropdown at the top.

There are some additional metrics you can access regarding your chat agents in the ‘Manage Quick’ page. On the left panel, scroll down to the bottom where you’ll find the ‘Quick Usage Metrics’. This provides you more general overview about the trends as well as thumbs down received and the reasons why.

Additional access to the overall chat history though would be nice so I have escalated to our internal team and they are looking into solutions as well as adding details to documentation.

The reality is that conversations get deleted 30 days from the day they were created. It should be calculated form the last interaction with that conversation. With the current system, it deletes conversations I just worked on yesterday if it was created 30 days ago. Being able to go back to the same conversation is what makes it useful - being able to go back and refine the thinking, add data, re-generate docs etc.

Hi @ludogo,
I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to in this demeanor; Quick has adjusted the conversation history so that it now catalogs the last 90 days of communication. Outside of the conversation history that can be viewed directly through an Agent, at the bottom there is an option to ‘view memories’. This shows conversations older than the initial 90 day window and highlights that the agent still has the ability to learn and grow from these old conversations.

Additionally, there are other tools becoming available that assist/allow you to view old conversation logs and digest them as data (which ultimately could be fed back into Quick, saved in a space and referred to by an Agent).

Here are two options you could explore to further assist with accessing information about your chat agent(s):

  • Here is an offering on the AWS Marketplace (free to download and utilize):

-Here is another option that was designed by AWS and outlined in a blog post:

Hi where do i access memories? Amazon employee using Quick in browser or mac app
