What does this error code mean: **GENERIC\_INTERNAL\_ERROR: Cannot invoke “String.toLowerCase(java.util.Locale)” because “schema” is null This query ran against the “neptune\_temp\_db” database, unless qualified by the query.**

Hi @isaivas and welcome to the Quick Sight community.
To my understanding, this error code is the result of your connector between Neptune and Athena encountering missing or undefined schema; potentially encountering an unexpected null in schema handling logic.

Thank you Brett, this makes sense. This blog is outdated: [Build interactive graph data analytics and visualizations using Amazon Neptune, Amazon Athena Federated Query, and Amazon QuickSight | AWS Database Blog](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/database/build-interactive-graph-data-analytics-and-visualizations-using-amazon-neptune-amazon-athena-federated-query-and-amazon-quicksight/)

The user was attempting to recreate this without Glue, but today the Neptune connector does require Glue Data Catalogs.
