I’ve loaded in a Jira dataset into Quick Sight and a custom field is not showing up from the dataset. Has anyone found a workaround for this? On how to bring that custom field in?

Hi! It is not a calculated field. The Jira dataset does not typically have this field but it was specially added in from my team. I see the field when importing the dataset but there’s no data populated. So just wondering how to get the data from Jira into Quick Sight since it’s not an out of the box field.

If it’s still not working I would suggest dumping data to s3 and then querying it with Athena.

> Consolidating data from a work management tool like Jira and integrating this data with other data sources like ServiceNow, GitHub, Jenkins, and Time Entry Systems enables end-to-end visibility of different aspects of the software development...

That should solve the problem of a customized field and give you a lot more flexibility as well.
