I have created a chat bot which i need to publish it for everyone who works on the issue, right now it ask me to share login for team member whom i want to give access but i need to publish this bot for everyone by sharing just a link
Hi @abhishhh
To share your app via a link, you’ll want to publish it. Amazon Quick apps support one-click publishing, once published, you can share the app with your team instantly through a link, without adding each member individually. The typical flow is: Describe -> Generate -> Preview -> Iterate -> Publish.
A couple of important points on access:
- Team members with a Quick account can open the app through the shared link once it’s published.
- To share with people who don’t have an Amazon Quick account, the app needs to be published publicly. Please note:
- Public access is available on Free and Plus accounts only.
- Public apps cannot use action connectors, embedded visuals, embedded chat, or spaces, so if your app relies on any of these, public sharing won’t be available.
You can find the official documentation here for reference - Build web applications with apps in Amazon Quick - Amazon Quick
the problem here is i published it but it ask me to add login to share it so that they can see it, but they can not use it unless i give access each
I need it to publish in a way so that anyone can use it
Hi @abhishhh,
Publishing the app makes it available, but by default the access level is set to Limited, which is why it’s still asking you to add each person individually. To let others use it without adding logins one by one, you just need to change the access level in the Share panel.
-
Everyone in your organization (recommended for team use)
- Choose
Share. - Set the access level to Account (or toggle on
Share with all). - Choose
Copy linkand send it to your team.
- Choose
Everyone in your Amazon Quick account can then open and use the app via the link, no need to add them individually.
-
Anyone on the internet (no sign-in required)
- Choose
Share. - Set the access level to
Public. - Choose
Publish, then share the public URL.
- Choose
A couple of notes for the Public option:
- It’s available on
Free and Plusaccounts only. - Public apps can’t use connectors, embedded visuals, embedded chat, or Amazon Quick spaces, if your app uses any of these, you’ll need to remove them before publishing publicly.
