@Saurabh ,

Q indexing does not have an impact on your SPICE dataset [[Refreshing Amazon QuickSight Q topic indexes - Amazon QuickSight](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/quicksight-q-topics-index.html) ]. The data that you load into SPICE can be used for dashboards / QnA .

Kind regards,
Koushik

@Koushik_Muthanna - Yes agreed Q index will not have impact on SPICE dataset, But as per documentation

 ![image](https://d1wl4jav5dp96l.cloudfront.net/original/3X/7/6/762d561cae7e0b5f1c2e33583e4bb5631da805ac.png)
Q creates and stores the index. So question is where it store the index. My understanding is it also stored in SPICE . So Question is how to know, how much space it will take.

Point here is to know how much it will cost me in terms of SPICE space.
Or it is not stored in SPICE?
