Hi @izzycs
The Excluded fields feature is designed to hide columns from your analysis views, but it doesn’t actually reduce your SPICE storage usage. The data for those columns is still stored in the SPICE.
To free up SPICE space by removing unwanted columns, you have two options:
- Custom SQL mode: Switch to the SQL editor in your dataset and write a SELECT statement that includes only the columns you need.
- Modify the source view/table: If you’re using the table/view selector, all columns from the source are imported. You’d need to update the source view or table in your database to remove the unwanted columns.
After making either change, perform a full SPICE refresh to reclaim the storage.
