I have a dashboard with more than 5 PDF tabs which need to generate and send PDF reports to a target email list.
Since quicksight has a limitation of having only 5 schedules per dashboard, I’m wondering if there is a way to have just 1 schedule in the dashboard and programmatically change the Content to loop over the tabs and trigger the scheduler to send PDF for all tabs?

Hi @Ankit.Singh,
That type of functionality is not available to setup via normal email scheduling. The only way to currently achieve something along these lines would be through utilizing [pixel-perfect reports](https://aws.amazon.com/quicksight/pixel-perfect-reports/).

I was looking for an API that would let me “edit” a schedule on PDF dashboard, but I guess even that is not supported currently, is it?

Hi @Ankit.Singh,
You could try the [start-dashboard-snapshot-job-schedule API](https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/quicksight/start-dashboard-snapshot-job-schedule.html).
If that does not work for your case, then let me know and I can mark this as a feature request.

Thank you!

I saw this, but this only triggers the existing scheduler for an ad-hoc run, this doesn’t let me modify the existing scheduler or create new schedulers. I think this feature would be very useful to a lot of people.
