I’m looking for a way of having the same report available in multiple languages without having to create different analysis, one for each language, as this would make maintaning the reports difficult.

My problem is not with the translation of data, but with the translation of the visuals’ titles, subtitles, the tables’ row names and other external text.

I’ve found this post from last august:
[Change the language of the external text](https://community.amazonquick.com/t/change-the-language-of-the-external-text/33315/3)

But the solution proposed confused me, as it seem impossible. It is said to create calculated fields that change according to the language selector parameter and use the calculated fields in the visual’s titles. However, I never was able to use calculated fields in these text fields (only parameters). And trying now, it still seems impossible to use calculated fields in the visual titles.

How exactly can I take the calculated fields and use for these fields?

Thank you.

Hello @igcosta

The blog post below goes into greater detail on how to accomplish a multilingual dashboard:

> **[Build a multilingual dashboard with Amazon Athena and Amazon QuickSight |...](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/big-data/build-a-multilingual-dashboard-with-amazon-athena-and-amazon-quicksight/)**
>
> Amazon QuickSight is a serverless business intelligence (BI) service used by organizations of any size to make better data-driven decisions. QuickSight dashboards can also be embedded into SaaS apps and web portals to provide interactive dashboards,...

To my knowledge there is a feature request out there for more multilingual support in the console from Quick Sight.
