Many teams receive daily field reports as PDFs, and because every site or vendor formats them differently, answering a basic question like “how did we do this week?” means opening dozens of files. Our example comes from oil and gas, where drilling crews send a report each day on how deep they drilled and how much time they lost, but the same problem shows up in construction, manufacturing, and logistics. In this session we show how Claude on Amazon Bedrock reads those PDFs into one clean dataset, and how a single Amazon Quick chat agent then answers questions from both the numbers and the original reports, using a working assistant built with Infosys and Anthropic.
