Good afternoon! My Company has asked me to research sending Dashboard Sendouts via an API call. [Last I saw on the Community Board this was on the roadmap](https://community.amazonquick.com/t/setup-email-report-via-api/2086). Is this feature still up and coming? Is there another workaround in place?

Example:

- I want to be able to assertively trigger a Dashboard Sendout
- Take in a DashboardId and SheetId
- Do a single sendout of a .pdf / .csv / .xlsx file to a list of emails

The closest API call I saw in my research was [start\_dashboard\_snapshot\_job](https://boto3.amazonaws.com/v1/documentation/api/latest/reference/services/quicksight/client/start_dashboard_snapshot_job.html), which is specifically related to Paginated Reports which I currently do not have access to at my Company

Hi @mwmcnall , this feature is in our product roadmap. Please keep an eye on recent releases here: [Announcements - Amazon Quick Sight](https://community.amazonquick.com/c/announcements/12/none). As you mentioned in your post, you can use the [Amazon Quick Sight Snapshot Export APIs](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/business-intelligence/automate-financial-statements-using-amazon-quicksight-snapshot-export-apis/) for your use case but it requires Paginated reporting enabled in your account.
