Usage logs of chat agents

We need to programmatically capture the usage logs of our chats (unique users, number of questions asked). so we want to access the User activity from the topics. Is there any table available? can you built it?

Currently, there are some usage metrics available; however, they are somewhat limited. You can access them by going through Manage account; then, all the way at the bottom left, there are Quick Usage Metrics.

I am not able to see ‘Manage account’. I guess it is a limitation from my company.

Hi @andreadm,

The usage metrics are restricted to administrators (per the AWS docs Using the Amazon Quick analytics dashboard - Amazon Quick , only admins have access to the analytics dashboard), so if your account is managed by your company, that’s likely why you can’t reach them, and they’d need to come from whoever administers Quick for your organization.

That said, for the programmatic angle you originally asked about, this AWS blog is worth a look: Create centralized monitoring for Amazon Quick Suite administration. It walks through building a monitoring solution that ingests the vended logs (chat history, chat feedback, agent hours) into S3 and Athena, and one of its main points is letting you share that monitoring data with non-admin users rather than being limited to the admin-only console metrics.

On top of that, we’re actually building something that does what you’re after for chat logs, and it will be available on the marketplace shortly, free to download. I’ll update this thread once it’s live so you can grab it.
