Hi, I’m trying to add date parameter and set up dynamic default to link to data field in dataset, but the date column I want to add to parameter doesn’t exsit in the drop down menu.
Hello @ShangLi, so with the dynamic default values, when you are setting those up you first need to link to a UserName/UserArn,or GroupName/GroupArn field in a dataset that would link you to a date value. The dropdown you are looking at would point to a UserName field so it wouldn’t return any date fields there.
I am wondering if instead of this, if it would be better to add a rolling date default in the parameter creation rather than using the dynamic default since it is specifically related to the user.
Check out the section in this documentation that mentions setting a default date for a datetime parameter and see if that will meet the expectations of your use case.
