I am trying to access the Slack connector (WorldWideConsumer Slack V2) however do not seem to have access. Can you advise how to gain access to this connector?
Hi @Gabrielle_Iskhakov and welcome to the community!
To point you in the right direction, could you share a few details? First, where exactly are you seeing the access issue, is the connector not showing up at all when you try to select it in chat, or does it appear but fail when you try to use it? Second, do you know who set up the connector? Since access is usually granted by the connector owner or an admin rather than something you enable yourself.
Hi and thank you! The connector is not appearing at all so not able to find it in my list of connectors. Thanks for you help!
If the connector isn’t appearing in your list at all, it most likely means that it hasn’t been shared to your account yet. Connectors like “WorldWideConsumer Slack V2” are set up and managed by your Quick administrator, and they need to explicitly grant access to individual users or groups. I’d recommend reaching out to whoever administers Quick in your organization and asking them to share the Slack connector with your account.
Just checking back in since this thread hasn’t received a response in a while. Was Cesar’s reply helpful to you and/or were you able to find a solution yourself in the meantime? Please help the community by marking this answer as “Solution” or following up in general within the next 3 business days!
Thank you!
Hi! thanks for reaching out, it ended up appearing from one day to another as I was in the process of tracking down my admin. Where would one go to figure out who their admin is? Thanks!
Glad to hear that it appeared again. I will archive this post for now, but if you face similar behavior again, I would reach out to your internal channels which should direct you to an IT or general account admin. If that is not the case, feel free to create a new post in the community, link this post for context, and provide other relevant details.
Thank you!
