We were unable to find any official documentation describing whether Amazon Quick performs malware/virus scanning or quarantine on files uploaded directly to a Space (i.e. not through an S3 bucket).
Could you clarify the following:
When a file is uploaded directly to a Space, does Amazon Quick apply any built-in malware scanning or quarantine to it?
If not, are there any plans to integrate with services such as Amazon GuardDuty for this purpose?
Welcome to the Quick Community! I also took a look for documentation as well, and there does not seem to currently be a method to natively scan for malware/viruses within Quick. Although there is no specific integration with GuardDuty, I would recommend adding GuardDuty protection to files within an S3 bucket, and then using an S3 integration to ultimately utilize those files within Quick. Here is some documentation with more information regarding this process.
I will also make sure to mark this post as a Feature Request and archive it so that someone from the AWS Team may address this in the future. If you have any additional questions regarding this topic, please feel free to create another post and link this thread for context.
