Want some clarifiacation on the dashboard visual placement should be dynamic

So we built a dashboard in QuickSight, and we created a few gauge visuals, okay? And those gauge visuals are of count, you can say, 12. Okay? So 12 gauge visuals line by line are being made. So the context behind those gauge visuals are, okay, we are having a few customers who are being provided the license to somewhat 12 services. And all those services are being implemented in those gauge visuals where the visuals will be showcasing that. For this particular service, how much the utilization of that particular parameter is out of the certain limit which has been provided to that particular customer. So this is the concept behind what we are showcasing in that particular gauge visual. Now, the catch for us here is that for a particular customer, it’s not 12 services. It is, let us suppose, say, X service is being licensed to that particular customer. And out of those 12 services, X service is licensed, take a count 5 for that X service. So out of 5 services, 3 are being utilized by the customer and 2 are not utilized. So what we built it out is 12 services in total for a single customer who is actually licensed 5 service. But still, the rest other 7 services will also be showing no data for that particular gauge which is not being licensed to that customer. But that should not be the case. Those extra 7 services should not be visualized at all for that customer. So how we want the design to be is, in Amazon QuickSight, that if a customer is selected, so out of those 12 service gauge visuals, only those visuals should get visible when a certain customer with 5 services is being selected out. Let us say if another customer with 7 services is there, so only those licensed 7 services should be visible. And that too in the tile format. It should not be like, okay, there will be spaces for the services which are not being licensed to that particular customer. The gap which is there, it should get filled out. So is this achievable in QuickSight or not? And if it is achievable, so how is the case we can utilize for this thing to be achieved? So, yeah.

Hi @harshalchaudhari

We have a similar requirement where in we have clients who use specific features of our product. Not all use all the features; but we want a standard dashboard and want the KPIs that relate individual clients to display while we build all KPIs in the dashboard.

We want the KPIs to be re-ordered without leaving any space. I am researching this as well. It would be good to know if there is a solution for this.

Hi @harshalchaudhari

The Chat agent suggests that using the High Chart visual we have the flexibility to build dynamic KPIs. I am not that familiar with High Charts; but I think that is the way to go
